Business Development Manager

Requirements of this role:

Have a Full, Clean Driving License

We are based in Cumbernauld and require someone based in the central belt who is willing to travel throughout Scotland.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales or business development, with experience in Commercial Heating, Ventilation, Renewables Services sector. You must be flexible to work outside core hours from time to time, with some UK travel.

Valid CSCS card (Manager)

Key responsibilities include:

Identify new business opportunities within the area of company’s expertise and advice to promote profitable growth.

Develop Sales Strategies & strategic partnerships with Principal Contractors, Consultants and potential clients.

Overview monthly Sales and deliver Revenue, Gross Margin and design win Revenue goals.

Attend monthly Sales meetings and review sales leads & future opportunities.

Coordinate & conduct site surveys as and when required to promote Sales.

Involvement in producing estimated costs of proposed projects and submit detailed quotations to customers.

Handover the awarded projects to Operations team for implementation including technical & financial details of the project.

Responsible for assessing current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed sales plans.

Full time (may consider part time)

5 days week, 38 hours. Friday early close.

Office Admin

Requirements of this role:

Manage and update contracts folders with required paperwork

Support installation team with necessary paperwork

Support management with data management, KPIs, reports and other duties

Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, including working with SAGE/FreeAgent softwares

Verify time reports and prepare payments accordingly

Verify invoices against Purchase Orders

Assist installation team when required

Diary management and communication

Report to Operations Director
